Asia Broadband Transitions GoldAxis Wallet to New Provider Amid Operational Delays
Asia Broadband has started transitioning its GoldAxis Wallet to a new technology and service provider due to operational, reliability, and Phase 2 development delays. The company recommends users transfer their digital assets to independent self-custody wallets until the new infrastructure is available.
The transition aims to improve security, infrastructure, and service continuity standards. Asia Broadband has evaluated several providers and will prioritize those that meet high cybersecurity, infrastructure reliability, system availability, incident response, technical support, and defined service levels standards.
Users are advised to transfer assets to a separate independent self-custody wallet as soon as possible. For AABBG, AABBS, and ALGO assets on the Algorand blockchain, users can consider creating an Algorand-compatible self-custody wallet like Pera Wallet. For Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other compatible cryptocurrencies, users can use a proven multi-asset self-custody wallet or any compatible self-custody wallet.
GoldAxis recommends all users create a new receiving wallet and transfer assets there instead of sharing the current recovery phrase with anyone. Users must ensure the destination wallet is compatible with their digital assets and blockchain before transferring funds.
