ATOM Price Remains Below Key Resistance Amid Broad Market Weakness
The ATOM price has been struggling to recover after hitting an all-time low near $1.25 in 2026, following a persistent downtrend that began in 2021 when it reached around $44.
Hopes for a recovery base at the current level have faded, as historical support levels failed to halt the decline despite some small changes in the shorter-term picture.
In late 2025, ATOM was still above $2, prompting hopes that the area could become another accumulation base similar to the 2020 bottom. However, this thesis has not played out, and buyers have largely disappeared from the industry since the start of the year.
The next hurdle for ATOM price bulls is reclaiming the 200-day EMA with convincing demand. Until that happens, calling the current all-time low a durable bottom would be premature, and if market conditions don't improve, ATOM could eventually slip below $1.
