ATOM Rallies 3.54% on Relief and Repricing After Neutron Exploit Resolution
The Cosmos (ATOM) price has seen a significant increase over the past 31 hours, rising by 3.54%.
This rally is likely due to relief and repricing following the resolution of the Neutron governance exploit and the successful restart of the Cosmos Hub.
On September 25, an attacker used Neutron governance to seize control of 11 smart contracts, draining approximately $4.4M to $9.4M in assets, including around 1.7M ATOM.
Cosmos Hub validators halted the Hub for about 24.5 hours, then restarted with a patched Gaia v28.3.0 binary and moved 1,227,121 ATOM from an attacker-linked address into a recovery address.
