Autheo Lists THEO on MEXC Amid Larger Infrastructure Ambitions
Autheo has listed its native token THEO on MEXC, marking a significant milestone for the project. However, the company is framing this moment as just one part of a larger story, not the headline.
According to Autheo, the three-step framework for THEO's development is convergence, distribution, and utility. Convergence was demonstrated last week, with today expanding distribution and what follows being utility.
The company describes its product as an Internet Operating System: a decentralized coordination, orchestration, and execution layer designed to bring blockchain, artificial intelligence, compute, storage, networking, identity, security, and economic infrastructure into a single architecture.
Autheo has been in development for about five years and now brings together over 100 co-founders and contributors across more than 25 countries. The foundation is already running with Autheo Mainnet going live on May 14, 2026, secured by 151 active validator nodes as of September 30.
THEO has two core jobs on the network: paying transaction fees and validator staking. However, Autheo plans to extend THEO's utility into compute, storage, networking, and AI execution through three components it expects to release progressively over the coming months: Autheo DevHub, The Autheo Mesh, and The Autheo Infrastructure Marketplace.
With these products, THEO would move from securing and paying for the network to acting as the currency for the resources the network provides. Autheo is urging holders to be careful with THEO spread across multiple chains, advising them to confirm that an exchange's deposit network matches the network where THEO is held before depositing.
