Avalanche (AVAX) Surges on Institutional Integration and RWA Adoption
Avalanche (AVAX) has seen its price surge around 5% due to several catalysts, including institutional and RWA tokenization efforts. One significant factor is the integration of Goldman Sachs' FTIXX U.S. Treasury fund with Lynq, a settlement network built on Avalanche's private permissioned Layer 1. This move positions Avalanche as part of the infrastructure for institutional cash and settlement, rather than just a retail DeFi chain.
According to recent data, Avalanche has attracted around $131.2 million in tokenized stock inflows over the past seven days, outperforming other tracked chains. This surge in RWA adoption has contributed to the rising narrative that Avalanche is becoming a primary settlement layer for tokenized stocks and other RWAs.
Technical commentators on X have also highlighted a 'structural breakout' for AVAX, citing its 14.2% weekly rise and clearing of mid-term descending resistance with the 50-day and 200-day EMAs turning into support.
