Avalanche Expands Ecosystem, But AVAX Price Stalls
Avalanche's ecosystem is expanding rapidly, with two major announcements that should have boosted its native token AVAX. However, despite the network's growing focus on real-world systems and infrastructure, AVAX continues to trade below key technical resistance.
The first announcement involves Kenya's national education infrastructure, where more than 30 million academic credentials will be verifiable and resistant to forgery using Avalanche as the verification layer. This move positions Avalanche as a trusted partner for government-backed digital record verification rather than just another blockchain chasing speculative activity.
Avalanche's second announcement pushes further into tokenized finance, with 724 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs now available to U.S. investors on Avalanche C-Chain through the Dinari Trading App. This includes the entire S&P 500, which should have attracted more attention to AVAX.
Despite these developments, AVAX price remains under pressure, trading below the 50-day EMA near $6.69 after consolidating since June. The current structure resembles the range seen during 2020, with AVAX price once again trading inside the broader $2.80 to $10.40 range.
