Avalanche Powers Blockchain Infrastructure in UAE National Digital Identity System

Avalanche has partnered with the UAE's Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) to provide blockchain infrastructure for the country's national digital identity system, UAE PASS. The integration aims to strengthen the verification process of official documents using blockchain-based checks.

The Digital Vault, a centralized platform within UAE PASS, will utilize Avalanche technology to ensure that documents are authentic and have not been altered. This collaboration is expected to support the infrastructure behind the Digital Vault, providing users with a secure way to access and share verified official documents.

The integration of blockchain technology into the existing national platform could provide a model for how public-sector systems can incorporate blockchain networks without requiring citizens to manage separate applications.
