Avalanche Surges Past $1.7 Billion in Tokenized Stock Market Cap
Avalanche's tokenized stock market saw significant growth in the past 30 days, outperforming its competitors. The platform's real-world asset (RWA) market cap surged by $266 million to reach a total of $1.7 billion as of mid-September 2026. This is a substantial increase from its market cap of $242 million in 2023.
The growth can be attributed to Securitize, which reported a 628% increase in assets deployed on Avalanche, reaching approximately $770 million by mid-September 2026. This accounts for roughly half of the platform's entire RWA market cap. BlackRock's BUIDL fund was one of the earlier high-profile deployments that helped establish Avalanche as a credible venue for tokenized assets.
The increase in holder addresses and transfer activity suggests retail participation in tokenized stocks is broadening, and these tokenized assets are developing real secondary markets. However, Securitize's outsized role introduces concentration risk, as any disruption to the platform could have disproportionate effects on Avalanche's RWA metrics.
