Avalanche Token Rockets to Six-Month High After Goldman Sachs Treasury Fund Integration
Avalanche's token price soared to a six-month high of $11.92 on Tuesday, after Goldman Sachs made its roughly $100 billion Treasury fund available via an institutional network based on Avalanche.
The news led to a 12% increase in AVAX's price over the last 24 hours, with the token nearly doubling from its June low and touching its highest level since late March.
Lynq, a settlement network for institutional crypto businesses operating on its own private, permissioned blockchain built atop Avalanche, is now offering Goldman's Financial Square Treasury Instruments Fund (FTIXX).
The fund itself was not tokenized, with Lynq CEO Jerald David stating that the firm's clients were buying the usual institutional shares of the existing fund.
