Avalanche Token Surges Above $7 Amid Growing Tokenized Assets
Avalanche's AVAX token has broken above $7, marking a significant milestone in its price recovery. The move comes as more traditional financial assets are being integrated into the Avalanche ecosystem, with over $3 billion in tokenized securities now available on the platform.
The growth of tokenized assets on Avalanche is largely driven by Japan's Progmat, which brought about $1.2 billion in tokenized securities to the network in June. Other platforms such as OpenTrade and Grove Finance have also seen significant increases in their assets on the network.
Delphi Consulting's report highlights the importance of this growth, noting that it is not concentrated in a single product or asset class. Instead, securities, credit, and other financial assets are all represented, giving Avalanche a growing presence in the push to bring traditional finance onto blockchains.
The breakout above $7 for AVAX is seen as an important move, with traders now watching to see if the token can maintain its momentum and work towards the $8.60 area or even $10.
