Avalanche Treasury Faces Nasdaq Deadline Over Listing Deficiencies
Avalanche Treasury Corporation (AVAT), listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market, has until February 2, 2027, to address two listing deficiencies after its share price and market value fell below required thresholds. The company's closing bid price has remained below $1 and its market value of listed securities has stayed below $35 million for 33 consecutive business days.
AVAT is currently trading around $0.32 per share, which would need to more than triple to reach the $1 threshold. However, a reverse stock split could potentially address this issue, but it would not by itself increase the aggregate market value needed under the second test.
Nasdaq has given AVAT time to rectify the situation and does not immediately affect its listing. However, the company must keep each measure above its respective threshold for at least 10 consecutive business days before Nasdaq confirms compliance. AVAT has not disclosed a definitive remediation plan.
