Avalanche's Price Volatility: Will AVAX Reach $100 by 2030?
The price of Avalanche (AVAX) has been on a rollercoaster ride this year, with significant fluctuations in its value. In Q3 2026, AVAX retested the $11.65 level, which aligned with the multi-year resisting trendline. If demand surges, it could flip $12 and aim for $15 or even $20.
However, if the price fails to surpass $12, it may bleed and retest the $7 support level, potentially causing a collapse towards the $4.00 support area. The price has been in a consolidation phase since January 2026, trading within a range of $8.60 to $10.50.
Despite the fluctuations, Avalanche's growth and expansion have not been slowing down. In late August, institutional crypto managers Bitwise, VanEck, and Grayscale collectively held over 5 million AVAX in combined holdings, with 3.49 million staked to earn yield. This development has contributed to increased institutional liquidity.
