AVAX Price Faces $7 Test as U.S. Senate Fails to Advance Clarity Act

Avalanche's AVAX price has taken a hit from the September 15 crypto sell-off, which followed the U.S. Senate's failure to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act in a 49-50 procedural cloture vote.

The reaction has put AVAX back at an important level of $7, which holds key support for the broader rally that started in June 2026. If this level is broken, the setup could change and expose the token to another sharp decline.

A move similar to the May 2026 fall can't be ruled out under that scenario, with possible levels of $5 or even lower coming into view.
