AVAX Price Teeters on Edge of Bearish Break
Avalanche's AVAX token price has taken a hit from the September 15 crypto sell-off, following the U.S. Senate's failure to advance the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act in a 49-50 procedural cloture vote, below the 60 votes required.
The reaction has put AVAX back at an important level, with $7 being a key support level that must hold for the broader rally started in June 2026 to remain intact. If $7 is broken, AVAX could test its ascending trendline, and losing that support would turn the structure bearish and expose the token to another sharp decline.
A move similar to the May 2026 fall can't be ruled out under this scenario, with potential price levels dropping as low as $5 or even lower. On the other hand, if $7 holds in September, AVAX could move back toward the 200-day EMA band and potentially reach prices of $8.50 and $10.00.
Avalanche has recently announced that permissionless tokenized stocks are coming to its network, with Pharaoh planning to bring 24/7 trading of tokenized U.S. stocks to its decentralized exchange built natively on Avalanche.
