Aviva Chooses XRP Ledger for $30B Liquidity Fund Amid Growing Adoption
Ripple's XRP Ledger has gained attention as the company expands its work in traditional finance. Aviva Investors, which manages over £30 billion in liquidity strategies, has tokenized its US dollar liquidity fund on the XRP Ledger through a partnership with Ripple.
The firm stated that tokenization does not change a fund's underlying assets, net asset value (NAV), or risk profile. It simply records ownership digitally, making transactions potentially faster and more efficient.
This move shows growing interest in using the XRP Ledger for real-world assets and traditional finance. Digital Asset CEO Yuval Rooz noted that banks are already using public blockchain infrastructure without waiting for the US Clarity Act.
