Harmony's blockchain has been compromised in a suspected exploit that has inflated its token supply. The attack allegedly minted nearly 4 billion ONE tokens, equivalent to about 26% of the token's total supply.

The layer-1 blockchain is considering rolling back its network after claims surfaced on X account 'Juiceberg' that empty blocks were used to create the unauthorized tokens. According to Juiceberg, approximately 2.8 billion tokens were quickly sent to exchanges as ONE's price fell.

Harmomy stated it was working with exchanges to stop and freeze funds and is preparing a patch while evaluating rollback options.
