Aviva Tokenizes $30 Billion Fund on XRP Ledger Amid Growing Blockchain Interest
Ripple's XRP Ledger is gaining attention from traditional finance as Aviva Investors has tokenized its $30 billion liquidity fund on the platform. The move is part of Aviva's partnership with Ripple and will explore more tokenization opportunities through 2026.
The firm manages over £30 billion in liquidity strategies and stated that tokenization does not change a fund's underlying assets, NAV or risk profile. It simply records ownership digitally, which could make transactions faster and more efficient.
This development shows growing interest in using the XRP Ledger for real-world assets and traditional finance, according to Digital Asset CEO Yuval Rooz. He warned that crypto networks will eventually be judged by their utility and revenue, not just their valuations.
