Axie Infinity Price Prediction Takes Hit as Token Struggles to Find Demand
The Axie Infinity (AXS) price has been struggling to find demand in recent months. In late 2025, it hit an all-time low of $0.79, but then surged by 270% to $3.00 in January 2026 before collapsing again.
As the second half of the year begins, the AXS price needs to breach the $1.50 resistance level to gain momentum. If it succeeds, August could see a retest of $2.20. However, if it continues to decline, the price may approach the lower edge of a multi-year falling wedge pattern, potentially dropping to the $0.10-$0.20 range.
The introduction of Bonded AXS (bAXS) in early 2026 and the cessation of SLP emissions have transformed the ecosystem into a reputation-based economy that rewards genuine players over automated bots. The project is also making progress with the Ronin Network transitioning to a full-scale Ethereum Layer 2 and the highly anticipated Atia's Legacy MMO on the horizon.
