BaFin Warns of Nova-C-Solutions.com: Genuine Registration Number No Guarantee

The BaFin, Germany's financial regulator, has issued a warning about a website called nova-c-solutions.com. The site offers financial and securities services as well as crypto-asset services without required authorization.

What makes this case interesting is that the operators gave a business address in Pompano Beach, Florida, which corresponds to a company called Nova Capital Solutions, LLC registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). However, the BaFin states that it has no indications of any connection between the company and the website.

The regulator suspects identity theft at the expense of Nova Capital Solutions, LLC and its executives. This means that a genuine registration number does not prove anything if it does not belong to the counterparty addressing you.

The BaFin warns that anyone offering financial, securities, or crypto-asset services in Germany needs authorization from the regulator. Without this, investors are exposed to risks, as there is no apparatus in place for dispute resolution.
