Bank of Russia Unveils Entry Rules for Crypto Exchanges and Digital Depositories
The Bank of Russia has established entry rules for digital depositories, crypto exchanges, and information system operators.
The new regulations will come into effect on October 5, after registration by the Ministry of Justice.
To be included in the relevant registries, these entities must submit detailed information about their activities, including their rights to exchange digital currencies, operate a digital depository and operator, and settle transactions.
The regulation also outlines qualification requirements for management members and certain officials of these companies, as well as lists the necessary documents for entry.
