Bankman-Fried Paid Seven Figures for Uniswap.com Domain

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams revealed on X that Sam Bankman-Fried paid seven figures for the Uniswap.com domain. This occurred before Uniswap Labs secured the domain in a 2021 legal proceeding, which found it had been used in bad faith.

The original owners of the domain wanted a seven-figure payment, but Adams' team declined to pay that amount. Bankman-Fried later paid the seven-figure sum and redirected Uniswap.com towards a fork of the Uniswap protocol.

Adams speculated that Bankman-Fried's motive was 'to flex / mess with us.'
