Banks Get Hands-on with Stablecoins Through Circle-Volante Partnership

Circle and Volante Technologies have joined forces to integrate USD Coin (USDC) workflows into a payment platform used by banks. This move allows financial institutions to test stablecoin operations within their existing systems.

Volante, a payment-as-a-service provider, will support evaluations of USDC minting and redemption, recipient wallet registration, funding, notifications, and wallet-to-wallet payments. The testing also covers operational controls and on- and off-ramp requirements, giving banks a way to assess how USDC processes fit into their payment channels.

This partnership is significant as it enables banks to evaluate the feasibility of using stablecoins within their existing infrastructure. By doing so, they can determine how USDC workflows align with their operational needs.
