Barhydt Sees Bitcoin on Path to $100k as it Emerges as Reserve Collateral
Abra CEO Bill Barhydt thinks Bitcoin is on its way to $85,000 before a market correction. However, he sees this as just the beginning of Bitcoin's journey in the AI economy.
In a recent podcast, Barhydt pointed to supportive financial conditions for risk assets, including US Treasury efforts and a weaker dollar. He expects Bitcoin volatility to decline as cross-chain infrastructure improves.
Barhydt believes stablecoins will dominate machine payments initially but that Bitcoin could emerge as the preferred reserve collateral underneath those transactions.
He also sees Ethereum remaining important for institutional blockchain adoption, while Solana could lead in consumer-facing applications and other networks develop specialized use cases.
