Base, a Web3 platform, has set its sights on enabling 10 million payments per second using Cloudflare's infrastructure. This ambitious target is aimed at empowering businesses to capture value from every internet page, with AI agents acting as economic actors and transacting directly on the chain.
The integration with Cloudflare's Monetization Gateway allows APIs to charge these agents per request, settled in USDC (USD Coin) on the Base network. This development marks a significant step towards realizing Base's vision of widespread adoption and seamless transactions.
