Base Unveils Cobalt Upgrade with Validity Transactions and Gas Efficiency Boost
Base has announced that it will introduce validity transactions in its Cobalt upgrade later this month. This new feature will allow users to set on-chain predicates that must be met for a transaction to be valid, eliminating gas waste if these conditions are not fulfilled.
The integration of validity transactions is expected to improve the efficiency and usability of Base's blockchain, particularly when interacting with the Ethereum L2. With ETH trading at $2574.77, which has been testing upper Bollinger resistance at $2535.22 while RSI(14) sits at 70.25 in overbought territory, a healthy retracement toward EMA50 support at $2471.56 may be probable before the bullish MACD golden cross drives continuation.
