BC Securities Commission Revokes Cease Trade Order for Digital Commodities Inc.
Digital Commodities Inc., an investment company focused on Bitcoin and gold, has had its shares cleared for trading by the British Columbia Securities Commission.
The commission had issued a cease trade order (CTO) due to an administrative oversight involving the company's semi-annual reporting under the Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933. The CTO was revoked on August 10, 2026, after the company filed its news release announcing its adoption of semi-annual reporting and engaged with the BCSC.
The company elected to adopt semi-annual reporting and is not required to file its interim financial statements for the period ended May 31, 2026. Digital Commodities Inc. confirmed that it relied on the semi-annual reporting framework and promptly filed the news release after becoming aware of the filing omission.
