BCH Price Rejection: Will Upper Bollinger Band Hold or Break?
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has been experiencing a significant drop in price after reaching an intraday high of $284.70, with a 5.25% drawdown from that peak. This decline has many speculating whether BCH will continue to rise or face a rejection at the upper Bollinger Band.
According to Peter Zhang's analysis, BCH is currently sitting at $267.20, with a %B of 0.97, essentially kissing the upper Bollinger Band at $269.93. However, this compression zone requires a significant surge in volume to break through cleanly, which hasn't been seen yet.
The RSI is running hot at 69, and the MACD histogram has flatlined at zero, indicating that the bull engine driving the recent leg has burned its fuel. The Stochastic still shows room for the short-term cycle before it rolls over.
Despite the bearish indicators, top traders on Binance futures are sitting at 66.4% long against 33.6% short, with retail mirroring this positioning at 62.8% long. However, the taker buy/sell ratio reveals that sellers are outpacing buyers in the immediate term.
