BCH Sees 3.07% Decline Amid Broader Crypto Market Pullback
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) suffered a 3.07% decline over the last 14 hours, mirroring the broader crypto market's pullback. This downturn was largely attributed to Bitcoin's rejection near $82,000 due to escalating Middle East tensions.
The geopolitical headlines triggered a risk-off move in the market, causing most large-cap cryptocurrencies to drop in value. BCH, being a high beta altcoin, followed suit and fell from approximately $253.69 to $245.89.
Although there were no specific BCH-related news driving this decline, technical flows and market positioning also played a role. Traders noted that BCH was in a short-term downtrend with short entries around the $245, $252 range.
