BCH Teeters on the Brink of Breakout or Flush
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is at an inflection point as it cools at $318.30, just below a critical resistance cluster of $323, $329. The asset has made significant technical gains in recent weeks, clawing its way above every major moving average on the daily chart.
This includes the 7-, 20-, 50-, and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMA), indicating macro trend recovery rather than a dead-cat bounce. However, momentum gauges suggest that buyers are hesitating at current levels, with a flat MACD histogram printing exactly at zero.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is sitting at 62.72, which is not overbought or euphoric, but the lack of upward acceleration is a concern. The RSI needs to push into the 68-72 zone for a clear bullish signal.
The derivatives data shows that smart money is running a 2.2185 long/short ratio, with 68.9% of their positioning on the long side. Retail traders are also long at 62.4%, creating a slightly crowded dynamic.
