Beeple Triggers 10M Token Burn in LAPTOP Memecoin

LAPTOP's memecoin has triggered a burn of 10 million tokens after two event-linked conditions were met. The token, which represents a humorous take on Hunter Biden's laptop controversy, had assigned 30% of its supply to 30 predefined real-world events.

The first condition was met when digital artist Mike Winkelmann, also known as Beeple, publicly referenced LAPTOP. This triggered the allocation of 5 million tokens to Beeple before September 9, 2029.

According to LAPTOP's resolution framework, a second condition had also been resolved, which brought the pending burn to 10 million tokens. However, the project did not identify this condition in its launch update.
