Beldex Pushes for Full Privacy Stack in Crypto Ecosystem

Crypto project Beldex is pushing for a full privacy stack in its ecosystem. According to Cris Blanco, co-founder of Beldex, this approach is necessary because traditional verification methods can compromise users' sensitive information.

Beldex builds a whole stack rather than a single app, with features such as private payments, a messaging service called BChat, a decentralized VPN called BelNet, and a naming service. The project's architecture is designed to prioritize user privacy from the start, rather than adding it later as an afterthought.

The idea behind this approach is that privacy fails at the weakest layer. For example, if a user has private payments but uses a public IP address for messaging, their overall anonymity can be compromised. Beldex aims to provide a seamless and secure experience across all its services.
