Biden specifically targeted World Liberty Financial and the TRUMP memecoin, which he claimed nearly one million wallets lost about $3.8 billion in value on.

The TRUMP memecoin launched in January 2025 and quickly fell by roughly 97% from its launch-era highs, leaving holders with significant losses.

Biden argued that the Trump family's crypto ventures were more corrupt than the scrutiny he faced, and drew parallels between WLF and FTX, a collapsed crypto exchange.
