Big Three Crypto Firms Stake Over Two-Thirds of AVAX ETF Holdings

Bitwise, VanEck, and Grayscale have collectively staked nearly 70% of their assets in spot AVAX exchange-traded funds (ETFs), according to data from Crypto Briefing. The firms' products trade under the tickers BAVA, VAVX, and GAVA.

The ETF sponsors launched the products in the first half of this year and have progressively integrated staking into their operations as regulatory clarity improved. Staking has become a key feature for these funds, allowing investors to earn additional yield on their AVAX holdings.

Grayscale's GAVA leads the group, with about 81% of its fund assets staked as of the end of August. Bitwise and VanEck have also staked a significant portion of their holdings, though exact figures for each fund were not immediately available.
