Binance Adds DJTB as Margin Collateral for VIP Traders

Binance has extended its bStocks product to VIP traders by adding tokenized Trump Media security DJTB as margin collateral. The move, which went live on August 26, allows eligible users to include the value of their DJTB tokens in margin calculations, increasing their borrowing capacity.

The exchange permits holders to use DJTB solely as collateral, and customers cannot borrow the asset. Binance may change the collateral ratio, which determines how much value an account's DJTB holdings contribute to its borrowing capacity. If the ratio is lowered, a smaller share of the token's market value will count as collateral.

Using DJTB for leverage introduces liquidation risk, and a price decline could weaken a customer's margin level, leading to potential liquidations by Binance if the account falls below maintenance requirements.
