Binance Axes UAH Services Amid Ukraine Crypto Market Shift
Binance has announced that it will discontinue several services for Ukrainian users. The exchange plans to stop UAH deposits and withdrawals through Fiat Trade UAH on September 28, effective at 09:00 UTC+2.
The USDT/UAH spot trading pair will also be removed from the platform on the same day, with all open orders automatically canceled. Eligible UAH balances will be converted to USDT by September 30 at 18:00 UTC+2, using a fixed rate of 1 USDT for every 46.5 UAH.
This change removes a direct fiat gateway for Ukrainian users and may create downside risks for local crypto on-ramp and CEX adoption. Binance advises users to review their UAH holdings and trading orders before the deadline.
