Binance Backs Upcoming Vana Network Upgrade and Hard Fork
Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced its support for the upcoming network upgrade and hard fork of the Vana (VANA) blockchain.
The update is scheduled to take place on September 21, 2026, at block height 10,229,958, approximately 3:29 PM. During this time, deposit and withdrawal operations on the VANA network will be temporarily suspended to ensure the secure management of users' assets.
Binance emphasizes that trading of tokens on the Valve network will not be affected by the upgrade and hard fork, allowing users to continue trading VANA on the platform without interruption. The exchange has also stated that it will handle all necessary technical operations for the update on behalf of users, eliminating any need for additional action.
Once the Vana network is deemed stable and secure following the completion of the upgrade, deposit and withdrawal operations will be reopened. Binance notes that no separate announcement will be made regarding the resumption of these services.
