Binance Bitcoin Trading Volume Soars, Leaving Hyperliquid in Dust
The cumulative volume delta (CVD) of Bitcoin on Binance has skyrocketed to $1.09 billion, outpacing Hyperliquid's CVD by a staggering 4,753%. This disparity is evident in the BTC CVD chart from August 10, where Binance's figure dwarfs Hyperliquid's $22.46 million.
The CVD measures the difference between market buy and sell volume over time, with rising readings indicating aggressive buying and declining readings suggesting stronger selling pressure. On Binance, the CVD has increased nearly steadily since August 4, with multiple rapid increases pushing it above the $1 billion mark.
In contrast, Hyperliquid's CVD exhibited some initial positive activity before returning to neutral territory, only slightly recovering to $22.46 million by August 10. This suggests that aggressive demand for Bitcoin has a significant Binance component.
