Binance, the leading blockchain ecosystem, recently hosted an intimate workshop in Cape Town to educate and empower women on the use of cryptocurrency. The 'She Speaks Crypto' event was part of Binance's ongoing commitment to financial education and inclusion in South Africa.

The half-day workshop combined plain-language crypto education with hands-on experience, helping attendees navigate the Binance App and build confidence in using cryptocurrency independently. Interactive booth sessions allowed guests to move through stations at their own pace, covering topics such as signing up for an account, growing crypto holdings, and investing further.

Binance's Head of Communications, Africa, Samantha Fuller, emphasized that the goal was not just to talk about financial inclusion but to provide hands-on experience. 'Crypto can be a powerful tool for women's independence, but only if it feels accessible,' she said. The workshop aimed to equip women with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their financial futures through crypto.
