Binance Brings HYPE to Spot Trading After Year-Long Wait

Binance has finally added Hyperliquid's HYPE token to its global spot market, more than a year after launching HYPE perpetual futures.

The exchange announced that users can now buy and hold HYPE on Binance against USDT, USDC, and TRY pairs.

In an official statement, the exchange noted that HYPE is subject to higher volatility and risk, and as such will be placed in its Seed Tag category. This means eligible users will face periodic risk assessments when trading these assets.

The move comes after a 15-month wait since Binance launched HYPEUSDT perpetual futures on May 30, 2025. During this time, Hyperliquid has expanded considerably and become a significant venue for perpetual futures trading.
