Binance Charity Pours $350k into Assam Flood Relief Efforts

Binance's philanthropic arm, Binance Charity, has donated INR 3.3 Crore (USD 350,000) to Goonj's Rahat Initiative for Assam Flood Relief.

The funds will be used to provide emergency food, clean water, hygiene kits, and shelter for families in 349 flood-hit villages across seven districts in Assam.

This contribution is expected to reach 27,500 families affected by the floods, which have displaced thousands of people and caused significant destruction.

Anshu Gupta, Founder of Goonj, said that timely support is crucial in helping affected families recover.
