Ethereum Blasts Past $2,400, Sets Sights on $3K
Ethereum broke above the $2,400 level on Friday for the first time in over three months. The cryptocurrency surged by more than 28% in just four days, reaching an intraday high of $2,446.
Cryptocurrency analyst Ted Pillows believes that a confirmed weekly close above $2,450 would reinforce Ethereum's upward trend and provide a technical pathway towards the $3,000 level. According to him, this price target is significant because it represents a major milestone for the asset.
However, analysts also cautioned that despite the strong breakout, volatility remains elevated. A failure by Ethereum to hold above key resistance zones could result in consolidation or a retest of support levels, particularly around $1,965.
