Binance is cleaning up its spot market by removing three underperforming stablecoin pairs on September 11, 2026. The exchange will stop trading $OPEN/$FDUSD, SAGA/$FDUSD, and VELODROME/$USDC pairs due to low liquidity and trading volumes.

The affected coins will remain available on the platform but traders will no longer be able to buy or sell them through these specific pairs. The decision is part of Binance's regular optimization process to concentrate liquidity in popular markets.

According to CoinMarketCap data, trading volumes for mid-cap altcoins paired with $FDUSD have fallen to critical levels, accounting for a paltry 0.06%-0.14% of the stablecoin's total trading volume.
