Binance cold wallet holds nearly 250,000 Bitcoin ranking first
Binance holds the largest single Bitcoin address on the blockchain, according to data from Arkham Intelligence. As of July 4, 2026, a Binance cold wallet contained approximately 248,598 BTC, representing about 1.24% of Bitcoin's circulating supply. The wallet address, 34xp4vRoCGJym3xR7yCVPFHoCNxv4Twseo, began receiving funds on October 18, 2018, and has logged 5,531 inbound transactions. The most recent deposit occurred around July 3, 2026.
The wallet has not sent any outbound transfers since January 7, 2023, a pattern consistent with cold storage, where private keys are kept offline for security. Binance's second cold wallet, at address 3M219KR5vEneNb47ewrPfWyb5jQ2DjxRP6, holds between 172,000 and 175,000 BTC. Together, the twelve largest Bitcoin addresses hold about 1.35 million BTC, or 6.72% of the total supply.
Binance's cold wallets store customer funds offline, reducing exposure to hacking risks. The lack of outbound transfers since early 2023 suggests the exchange has not needed to tap these reserves to meet withdrawals. However, large holdings sitting idle could potentially restrict market liquidity, given Bitcoin's fixed supply.
The steady inflows into the primary wallet indicate that customers are leaving their coins on the platform rather than withdrawing them. This behavior could influence Bitcoin's price dynamics if the holdings were ever liquidated.
