Binance Collaborates with Philippine Regulators to Establish Global Standards
The Philippine digital economy is shifting towards maturity and regulation, driven by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Strategic Sandbox (StratBox) and partnerships between industry players.
Binance, a leading global cryptocurrency exchange, has partnered with BlockShoals Technologies, Inc. (BlockShoals), a Crypto Asset Intermediary (CAI) operating under the SEC StratBox, to deepen public understanding of blockchain technology and bring proven global practices to the local market.
The partnership aims to support a framework that other qualified global exchanges can follow, with Binance sharing insights with regulators during the StratBox period. This collaborative effort is expected to establish standards for regulated and secure operation in the Philippines.
