Binance Cuts Six Tokens from Spot Trading on August 17
Vulcan Forged's PYR token is among six tokens that Binance will remove from spot trading on August 17 at 03:00 UTC. The removals also include ACX, HFT, PIVX, VANRY, and VIC.
The news comes as Vulcan Forged is in the process of unwinding, having begun unstaking PYR tokens and reimbursing holders while considering a relaunch with a new team and funding.
PYR was down 18.31% at press time, with PIVX experiencing an even sharper decline of 19.27%. HFT dropped 11.47%, VIC fell 11.24%, and ACX declined by 5.22%. VANRY bucked the trend, climbing 8.23% after earlier losses.
The removals are part of Binance's routine review framework, which considers factors such as liquidity, development activity, network safety, team conduct, transparency, tokenomics, and shifts in regulation.
