Binance Delists 12 Margin Trading Pairs on September 3
Binance has announced that it will be delisting 12 margin trading pairs on September 3, including SUI/BTC, AVAX/BTC, and LINK/BTC. The move affects isolated margin trading pairs, which include TNSR/USDC, SXT/USDC, TURTLE/USDC, AIXBT/USDC, BREV/USDC, USDE/USDC, WBETH/ETH, BFUSD/USDT, and BNSOL/SOL. Five of these pairs will also be removed from cross margin.
Binance will stop borrowing for the affected isolated margin trading pairs on September 1. On September 3, it plans to close user positions, conduct automatic settlement, and cancel all open orders. The trading pairs will then be removed from Binance's margin service. Users may face restrictions on moving the affected assets into isolated margin accounts.
The exchange recommends that users close positions or move assets from margin accounts to spot accounts before trading is halted. This is because positions cannot be modified for about 3 hours while the delisting process is underway, and losses could occur as a result.
