Binance Delists Six Altcoins Amid Industry Standards Review
Binance has announced that it will terminate all trading services for six altcoins on August 17, following its review of listed cryptocurrencies. The exchange cited industry requirements and necessary standards as the reason behind the delisting.
The affected assets are Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX (PIVX), Vulcan Forged PYR (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC). The decision has already impacted their prices, with PIVX and PYR plummeting by 20%.
This is not the first time Binance has delisted tokens. In June, it removed Alchemix (ALCX), Ardor (ARDR), NFPrompt Token (NFP), and Marlin (POND) from its platform. The move inevitably leads to reduced availability, thinner liquidity, and reputational damage.
