Binance Delists USDC Pairs Due to Weak Liquidity
Binance is set to remove four spot trading pairs involving the USDC stablecoin on September 18, as part of a broader maintenance and review cycle. The exchange cited weak liquidity and low trading volume as reasons for delisting the pairs.
The affected spot pairs are BREV/USDC, COOKIE/USDC, LA/USDC, and QNT/USDC. Trading for these pairs will halt at 03:00 UTC on September 18, according to the exchange. However, the underlying tokens will remain available through other available pairs on the platform.
The decision follows a routine assessment of liquidity and trading volume across Binance's platform. The exchange periodically reviews all spot trading pairs to protect users and maintain a high-quality trading market. Pairs that show weak liquidity, low trading volume, or other signs of declining market performance may be delisted.
