Binance Donates $400K to Assam Flood Relief via Blockchain-Powered Philanthropy

Binance has donated INR 3.3 crore ($400,000) to Goonj's Rahat initiative for Assam flood relief through its blockchain-based philanthropic arm, Binance Charity.

The donation is aimed at providing critical aid to communities affected by the devastating floods in Assam, India.

Binance Charity has facilitated over $43.5 million in donations globally since its establishment in 2018, according to the platform's honor wall data as of August 24, 2026.

Goonj will channel the funds toward immediate needs such as food, clothing, and medical supplies for flood-hit regions in Assam.
