Binance Empowers Guinea Users with Crypto Scam Awareness
Binance is taking steps to educate users in Guinea about the risks of cryptocurrency scams and how to navigate digital assets safely.
The company believes that education is key to protecting people from falling victim to Ponzi schemes, which are not unique to crypto but can be particularly prevalent in the industry.
Binance Academy offers free lessons on cryptocurrency, blockchain, security, and responsible use of digital assets, written in plain language for people at every level. The platform has helped millions of learners around the world build their knowledge before taking their first step into crypto.
AD Wondje, Marketing Manager for Francophone Africa at Binance, emphasizes that understanding how Ponzi schemes work and knowing the signs to look for gives people real control over their financial decisions. He stresses that education works alongside a few practical habits, such as researching the person or platform being offered, verifying details through official sources, and keeping passwords private.
Binance continues to focus on security, compliance, and user protection, investing around $300 million a year in compliance globally. The company has supported global authorities across 313,653 law-enforcement requests, helping strengthen trust and accountability throughout the digital asset ecosystem.
